ZanaBeta Terms
Terms for Zana pilots and beta access.
These terms apply to current Zana pilot and beta access unless a signed agreement says otherwise. Zana is still pre-launch for general production use, features may change, and beta access does not create a service-level commitment.
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Zana is still in pilot and beta development and is not yet authorized for general live-private-data production use. A signed pilot or customer agreement may add or replace commercial, data-processing, liability, governing-law, or other terms for that relationship.
1. The Service
Zana provides software that can organize information, maintain relevant context, coordinate workflows, surface evidence, and generate automated summaries or recommendations. Zana STR is focused on short-term-rental operations. Zana Life is focused on personal context, planning, research, writing, and other supported assistance.
Zana is not itself a property manager, cleaning company, staffing agency, insurer, payment provider, emergency service, or licensed legal, medical, or financial adviser.
2. Pilot Status And Eligibility
Current Zana pilots are intended for adults age 18 or older unless Zana has completed a separate legal and product review for another use. Pilot and beta features may be incomplete, experimental, changed, interrupted, or removed.
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, beta access does not create an uptime guarantee, service-level commitment, exclusivity promise, or guarantee that a feature will remain available or reach general release.
3. AI And Automated Output
Zana may use deterministic software, local models, hosted models, or approved external AI services to produce text, classifications, recommendations, plans, or summaries. Automated output can be incomplete, stale, or wrong.
You are responsible for reviewing consequential decisions and relevant source evidence before acting. A recommendation, score, explanation, or generated draft is assistance, not a guarantee of an outcome and not a substitute for professional advice where professional advice is required.
4. Your Data And Permissions
You remain responsible for the information you submit or connect and for having the rights, permissions, consents, or other lawful basis needed to provide it. Do not upload another person's private information, recordings, confidential material, property evidence, or account data unless you are authorized to do so.
You grant Zana the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, transform, and display submitted data to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and support the service as described in the Privacy notice and any controlling written agreement.
5. Connected Services And External Providers
Optional integrations and hosted features may depend on third-party infrastructure, email, database, connector, security, analytics, or AI providers. Those services can have their own availability, security, retention, and legal terms.
Zana does not promise that every computation occurs on your device. Provider capability also does not itself authorize Zana to expose private data or perform an external action. See AI & Data for the current processing boundaries.
6. Actions Taken Through Zana
Features that can send messages, create or change calendar events, publish information, delete records, or otherwise modify an external service require the applicable authority for that action. Zana may require confirmation, scoped permissions, duplicate-execution protection, or result verification before completing an action.
A draft, recommendation, connected account, or technical capability does not by itself mean that an external action has been authorized or completed.
7. Account Security And Prohibited Use
Keep credentials and access links secure, use accounts only as authorized, and promptly report suspected compromise. You may not attempt to bypass authorization boundaries, access another user's data without permission, probe private systems without authorization, introduce malware, abuse the service, or use Zana for unlawful activity.
Do not place passwords, private keys, authentication secrets, or payment-card data into ordinary Zana text, memory, or AI fields.
8. Property Operations And Third Parties
Property operators remain responsible for choosing, vetting, approving, paying, supervising, and managing cleaners, contractors, vendors, employees, guests, or other people involved in their operations. A Zana account, checklist, assignment, evidence record, or recommendation does not mean Zana has hired, insured, trained, endorsed, or supervised that person.
Operators remain responsible for property access, safety, licensing, insurance, taxes, worker classification, and local compliance unless a separate written agreement expressly allocates a responsibility differently.
9. No Guaranteed Outcome
Zana does not guarantee that a property will be clean, safe, compliant, damage-free, guest-ready, or completed on time, or that a personal plan, recommendation, forecast, application, decision, or other assisted task will produce a particular result. Connected-source information can also be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
10. Intellectual Property
Zana and its licensors retain their rights in the service, software, designs, trademarks, models, documentation, and other protected product materials. These terms do not transfer ownership of Zana technology to you. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative services from protected Zana materials except where applicable law expressly permits it.
11. Suspension And Termination
Zana may suspend or limit beta access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, nonpayment under an applicable agreement, material breach, or protection of users or the service. You may stop using the service at any time, subject to any separate written pilot or customer agreement.
12. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, beta services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or fit for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation Of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to any controlling written agreement, Zana will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost bookings, loss of business opportunity, or loss caused by relying on unverified automated output. Any monetary cap or allocation of risk in a signed pilot or customer agreement controls where inconsistent with this beta page.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, data you lacked authority to provide, infringement caused by your content, or your management of properties, workers, guests, or other third parties, except to the extent a claim was caused by Zana's own conduct and applicable law does not permit that risk to be shifted.
15. Changes And Controlling Agreements
Zana may update these beta terms as the product changes. Material changes should be reflected by a new update date and, where required, additional notice or renewed acceptance. A signed agreement controls over this page to the extent that agreement expressly governs the same subject and is inconsistent with these beta terms.
Use Zana With Judgment
Assistance does not replace verification.
Review source evidence, permissions, and consequential actions before relying on Zana output, especially where safety, money, legal rights, employment, property access, or sensitive personal information is involved.
